According to the police data, on February 10, 2026, a woman named Sh. Ch. approached them with a statement. She reported that on February 5 at 12:30 at the corner of J. Bokonbaev and Yu. Abdrakhmanov streets, an unfamiliar man, introducing himself as B., under the pretext of selling four cars of various brands, received $57,000 from her. However, he did not fulfill his obligations and disappeared.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 209 "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
A suspect in fraud for $57,000 has been detained in Bishkek.
As a result of operational-search activities conducted by the staff of the Internal Affairs Department of the Sverdlovsk district, the suspect, known as Z. B., born in 1995, was identified and detained. He was taken to the investigative authorities and, in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Police Department.
