It all started when the border guards noticed a Volkswagen Crafter moving along the state border. The driver ignored the stop signal and attempted to escape. At that time, a second vehicle, a SsangYong Rexton Sports, deliberately created obstacles for the service vehicle, trying to ensure a safe passage for the truck to the border.
However, thanks to the actions of the border guards, both vehicles were blocked and detained in the village of Dostuk.
Inside the Volkswagen Crafter, 36 sheep were found being transported without the necessary documents, both veterinary and accompanying goods documents. The preliminary assessment of their value is about one million soms.
In connection with the suspicion of organizing and assisting in smuggling, three individuals from the Batken region were detained: G. S. K., born in 1984, T. R. U., born in 1983, and N. K. K., born in 1984.
