One of the suspects has been detained
In Bishkek, law enforcement agencies detained a fraudster who posed as a member of the security forces. This was reported by the Main Internal Affairs Directorate (GUVD).
On December 12, 2025, a woman named M.O., born in 1949, approached the Sverdlovsk District Internal Affairs Department, requesting action against unknown individuals. According to her, the criminals, having gained her trust and posing as law enforcement officers, deceitfully took her money amounting to 850,000 soms and then ceased communication with her.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of the investigation, a suspect named A.Z., born in 2004, was identified and detained, and he is currently in the temporary detention facility of the GUVD.
Work on the case is ongoing.
