The incident occurred on February 20, when a 71-year-old resident of the capital contacted the Internal Affairs Department of the Sverdlovsk District. According to him, he received a call from criminals who posed as employees of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) and deceitfully convinced him to transfer 12 million soms.
This case was registered in accordance with Article 209 ("Fraud") of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan.
Employees of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek detained three suspects: T. K., born in 2007, A. M., born in 2006, and A. K., born in 2003. They were placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation continues, identifying other individuals involved in this crime.
