In Bishkek, suspects in Range Rover fraud have been detained

According to information provided by the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the capital, a citizen named Sh.B. approached the October District Prosecutor's Office. He reported that on September 16, 2025, two of his acquaintances, M.A. and T.A., convinced him to temporarily hand over his 2019 Range Rover, promising to sell it.

However, it later turned out that they sold the car and appropriated the proceeds.

A criminal case was initiated on this fact under Article 209 "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In Bishkek, suspects in the Range Rover fraud have been detained

Suspects.
During operational search activities, the identities of the suspects were established. They are 24-year-old M.A. and 22-year-old T.A. They were detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek in accordance with the procedure established by Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The investigation is ongoing.
