In Bishkek, in the residential areas of “Ala-Too 1” and “Ala-Too 2”, the supply of drinking water will be temporarily suspended on March 5, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. This shutdown is related to emergency repair work at the “Ala-Too” water intake.
According to information from the city hall press service, the water shutdown will affect not only residential buildings but also educational institutions such as schools and kindergartens, as well as healthcare facilities and other social and industrial objects.
The municipal enterprise “Bishkekvodokanal” apologizes for any inconvenience and recommends that residents and organizations stock up on drinking water in advance.
