A criminal case against a 34-year-old citizen of Kyrgyzstan has been sent to court in Russia, as reported by the Murmansk region prosecutor's office on March 2.

The man is accused of violating Article 322, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which pertains to the illegal crossing of the state border by a foreign citizen or a stateless person if their entry into the country is prohibited.

According to the investigation, in December 2019, the FSB of Russia banned this Kyrgyz citizen from entering its territory. After that, he left the country but soon returned and headed to the Murmansk region with the intention of finding work. As a result, he became involved in a crime classified as theft committed by a group of individuals by prior agreement on a large scale, according to Article 158, Part 3, Clause "b" of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
