A citizen, T.D., who was on an international wanted list, has been extradited from Azerbaijan to Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by the General Prosecutor's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic.
After completing all necessary extradition procedures in Baku, he was handed over to representatives of the Kyrgyz side and, accompanied by law enforcement officers, was brought to the republic, where he was placed in a pre-trial detention center.
The accused, having abused the trust of two victims, stole more than 46 million soms. After committing the crime, he left the country.
The General Prosecutor's Office noted that effective cooperation with government agencies in Azerbaijan played a key role in his return. The agency continues to actively work on strengthening international relations and ensuring the inevitability of punishment for criminal offenses.
