According to law enforcement agencies, on January 11, a resident named T.K., born in 1999, approached the police department of the Issyk-Ata district requesting action against the pawnshop employee in Kant.
During the investigation, it was revealed that 36-year-old S.M., working as an appraiser and cashier, was involved in issuing fictitious loans for inflated amounts, which allowed her to misappropriate funds.

Preliminary data indicates that from November 2024 to the end of December 2025, the suspect may have embezzled around 4 million soms.
A criminal case has been opened against her under Article 210 "Embezzlement and Misappropriation of Entrusted Property" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The suspect was detained in accordance with the procedure provided by Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic and placed in a temporary detention facility. The investigation is ongoing.
