As reported by the press service of the Bishkek City Court on March 13, former deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Kuanychbek Kongantiev will remain in custody at the GKNB pre-trial detention center until May 10.
The day before, a video appeared on social media claiming that Kongantiev had registered 169 real estate properties in the names of his relatives.
On March 10, it became known that Kongantiev had renounced his deputy mandate, and the following day he was detained by GKNB officers on suspicion of organizing illegal schemes related to land plots involving affiliated individuals and legal entities.
