For reference, Kuvanychbek Kongantiev was elected to the Jogorku Kenesh from single-mandate district No. 21, receiving 13,379 votes. In parliament, he was part of the deputy group "El ümütü — Ata-Jurt" and held the position of chairman of the committee on industrial policy, transport, fuel and energy complex, architecture, and construction.
