The detention took place on February 17, and on February 19, the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek granted the request of the interdepartmental investigative group, deciding to keep the suspect in custody until April 15, 2026.
The case is currently under investigation under the article "Corruption" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
It is worth noting that earlier, his colleague from Bishkek, former head of the main department of GKNB in the capital, Eldar Jakypbekov, was also detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the capital's Department of Internal Affairs. He is also involved in an investigation conducted by the Military Prosecutor's Office on similar corruption charges.
