Today, a hearing took place in the Bishkek City Court regarding the case of journalist Kanyshay Mamyrkulova, during which the defense's motions to recuse the judge and prosecutor were dismissed. This was reported by lawyer Akynbek Nogaev, commenting on the results of the hearing.

The defense requested the recusal of presiding judge Adylbek Esenbaev due to his previous ruling concerning lawyer Asel Mamyrkulova, which the defense deemed illegal and contrary to the ruling of the Constitutional Court of the Kyrgyz Republic dated September 8, 2025.

However, the court did not grant this request. Subsequently, the defense also asked to summon additional witnesses, but this request went unanswered as well.

During the hearing, a motion submitted by the defense on October 24 was also considered, requesting an examination of Kanyshay Mamyrkulova's Facebook pages. Despite the objections of the state prosecutor, the court granted the defense's request, which presented sufficient arguments. The defense also attempted to file a motion to recuse the prosecutor, but this request was also denied.

As a result, the hearing was suspended and rescheduled for December 8 at 10:30.
