According to police information, on March 13, 2026, emergency services received a call reporting that a man had shot himself in a car. The investigative operational group of the Lenin District Department of Internal Affairs was dispatched to the scene.
Upon inspection, the body of K. K., born in 1981, was found in a GAC vehicle with a gunshot wound. From the scene, a smoothbore shotgun Izh-18 caliber 12 mm, 13 cartridges, a shell casing, two mobile phones, a suicide note, and other evidence were seized.
A preliminary forensic examination revealed that the deceased had gunshot wounds in the chest area. A forensic medical examination has been appointed.
According to preliminary data, the possible cause of the incident could be the deceased's debt obligations. In this regard, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 128, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, and investigative activities are ongoing.
Earlier, sources from Kaktus.media in law enforcement reported that the deceased was Kubanychbek Kapalov, the deputy head of the bailiff service at the General Prosecutor's Office of Kyrgyzstan.
