During the specified days, there is a possibility of snow avalanches in the mountainous regions and on certain roads of the country, as well as the formation of snow drifts, ice, and black ice.
The most dangerous sections of the roads where avalanches are expected include:
- Ala-Bel Pass on the Bishkek — Osh road (198–260 kilometers, Chychkan Gorge);
- Myza-Ake — Kara-Kulja — Alaykuu section (55–115 kilometers);
- Dolon Pass on the Bishkek — Naryn — Torugart road (292–305 kilometers);
- Kok-Art Pass on the Balykchi — Kazarman — Jalal-Abad route (201–205, 260–290, and 326–349 kilometers);
- Chon-Ashuu Pass on the Karakol — Enilchek road (45–90 kilometers).
The Ministry of Emergency Situations strongly recommends that drivers be cautious and follow safety measures. When traveling through areas prone to avalanches, it is necessary to maintain a safe distance of at least 500 meters between vehicles.
