A statement was received by the Sverdlovsk District Department, indicating that a sum of 4,129,300 soms was paid for the purchase of gold jewelry from Turkey. However, the obligations under the contract were not fulfilled.
In this regard, a criminal case has been initiated under part 4 of Article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning "Fraud on a particularly large scale".
Employees of the Criminal Investigation Department detained the suspect, a woman named D. S., born in 1970. She is currently in a temporary detention facility.
