The Ministry of Internal Affairs suggests that the damage may increase
A large fraudulent scheme has been uncovered in Kyrgyzstan, resulting in damages that have already exceeded 20 million soms. This information was provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
One of the victims who reported to the police stated that in 2026, a representative of the company "Phoenix" gained her trust and received 34,500 soms, promising to return the money as cashback within a year. However, after failing to fulfill her obligations, the woman disappeared.
In connection with this fact, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the suspect N.Ch. Osmonova, born in 1980, has been detained.
Currently, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has registered statements from 26 victims. The agency does not rule out that the number of victims and the total amount of damage may increase.
