According to police data, the wreckage was found in the Akzhayik district. The appearance of the find suggests that these are fragments of an unmanned aerial vehicle. Representatives of the department added that the object was found outside populated areas, and the relevant services are conducting an investigation to establish all the circumstances of the incident.

Similar incidents have already occurred in Kazakhstan — earlier cases of drone crashes were recorded in the West Kazakhstan region. In March 2025, fragments of an unidentified UAV were found in the Zhanibek district, and local police also reported investigations at that time. In October 2025, wreckage resembling drone fragments was discovered in the Burlynsky district of the ZKO.
