In order to protect citizens from fraudulent activities on the internet, the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic has implemented a self-ban mechanism on loans. This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the NBKR, Bektur Aliyev, at a recent press conference.
He noted that the NBKR and law enforcement agencies receive numerous complaints from citizens who have fallen victim to fraudsters. These criminals use various schemes to obtain loans in the name of citizens without their consent, effectively depriving them of freedom in financial matters.

He also added that the launch of this system is the first step towards a comprehensive program to enhance the security of citizens against financial crimes.
