At a recent meeting with the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, a decision was made to allocate 9 million soms to improve the material and technical base of the Ombudsman Institute, which will allow for the purchase of new vehicles.

The keys to 9 Chevrolet Cobalt vehicles were handed over to Ombudsman Jamilya Jamangbaeva by the President's Chief of Staff, Kanbek Tumanbaev.

These vehicles will be distributed among the regional representatives of the Ombudsman in six regions of the country.

“This step is significant for improving the work of both the central office and the regional representations. It will help respond more quickly to citizens' appeals and more frequently visit remote areas, thereby ensuring the protection of human rights and freedoms in all regions,” noted Jamilya Jamangbaeva.

It should be emphasized that in recent years, efforts have been intensified to enhance the effectiveness of the regional representations of the Ombudsman, aimed at providing more reliable protection of human rights in the regions within the framework of the institute's mandate.

As part of this work, the material and technical base is also being strengthened, office repairs are being carried out, and the qualifications of regional representation staff are being improved.
