
There are no Kyrgyz citizens in Pakistan convicted of crimes
The Committee on International Affairs, Defense, Security, and Migration of the Jogorku Kenesh supported the initiative to transfer its citizens who have been convicted and are serving sentences in Kyrgyzstan back to Pakistan.
Deputy Attorney General Umutkan Konkubaeva informed the deputies that during the first nine months of 2025, 14,590 citizens of Pakistan arrived in Kyrgyzstan, while 15,289 Pakistanis left the country. Currently, there are 8,681 Pakistani citizens registered with the consulate.
According to her data, during the specified period, 2,212 Pakistanis were fined for various offenses. Additionally, 672 individuals were deported from the country. Currently, 28 Pakistani citizens are serving sentences in Kyrgyzstan, one of whom has been sentenced to life imprisonment.
“It is important to note that there are no Kyrgyz citizens imprisoned in Pakistan. There are 191 individuals registered with the consulate, mostly women who have married Pakistanis or are studying in religious educational institutions,” added Umutkan Konkubaeva.
