No serious incidents were recorded
The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports that no serious crimes or offenses occurred in the republic on New Year's Eve.
During the festive events, law enforcement officers ensured public order and safety. Constant monitoring of law and order was carried out in places of mass gatherings, as well as during the New Year celebrations.
According to the agency, since December 29, the personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Internal Troops have been transferred to an enhanced service mode. Round-the-clock work of special police units and investigative-operational groups was also organized.
More than 12,000 law enforcement officers were involved in maintaining order in the country.
