In the Issyk-Kul region, the tourist-ecological police have been supplemented with two new motorboats.

As reported by the press service of the regional police, an official event took place on January 7 in the Tyup district, dedicated to the launching of the boats into the water and demonstrating their functional capabilities on Lake Issyk-Kul.

Major General of Police Murat Boronov, head of the regional internal affairs department, emphasized that special attention should be paid to the new technical equipment so that the tourist-ecological police can work effectively in the field of nature conservation and tourism. Modern quadcopters were also provided for each district.
Both boats, measuring 6.5 meters in length, are made of durable aluminum and are adapted for operation in inland water bodies. They are equipped with modern radars, solar cameras, and sonar, significantly expanding their capabilities for navigation and monitoring.

The quadcopters, which were also provided, are designed to operate in challenging ecological conditions. Equipped with sensors and thermal imagers, they can be used for searching for people, detecting poachers, monitoring infrastructure facilities, as well as conducting search and rescue operations and controlling forest fires.

The regional internal affairs department noted that this equipment was provided in accordance with the Decree of President Sadyr Japarov No. 131 "On Urgent Measures for the Protection of the Ecology of Issyk-Kul".

The police are confident that the new boats and quadcopters will help improve the ecological situation in the resort area of the lake, preserve natural resources, and strengthen the fight against illegal fishing.
