Esen was born in 1995 in Naryn.
In an interview with a Turmush correspondent, he talked about his experience working in Russia, where he worked as a taxi driver. However, after his video with his son went viral, he decided not to return to Moscow.
“Unfortunately, I separated from my wife. Now I live in Bishkek, in the Altyn-Kazyk neighborhood, with my daughter and son. My daughter Sabina was born in 2017, and my son Habib was born in 2019. My daughter is already in the 2nd grade, and my son, although he is only 6 years old, started school early,” he shared.
After the video was published, many users expressed admiration in the comments: “He speaks very well,” “Where did he get such skills?” Esen noted that his son speaks Kyrgyz because he grew up with his grandmother. Additionally, they have a great-grandmother who is 95 years old, and both grandmothers have a rich vocabulary and eloquence. “They love and spoil my son very much, and perhaps that has been passed on to him. I also try to pay attention to him and care for him so that he doesn’t feel the absence of his mother,” he added.
Esen worked in Moscow for 2-3 years, and the longest period of his absence was 7-8 months. He spent summer vacations with the children at the lake so they could have fun and prepare for school before his next departure.
“After the video came out, many wrote: ‘Don’t leave, stay close to your child.’ I received many such messages, and reflecting on this, I decided to stay. I understand that I can earn money here too. Whatever will be, will be. My daughter is growing up, becoming more serious, while my son is still little and a bit spoiled,” he commented.
“In my free time, I try to pay more attention to the children’s education. We read books together. Now my hobby has become creating videos for social media. We started this venture and plan to develop a small business,” Esen concluded.
