In Suzak, local residents became heroes by saving a roe deer from an attack by stray dogs. This information was provided by Durusbek Zalimbekov, head of the regional department of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision in the Jalal-Abad region.

On January 3, in the rural district of Kök-Art, a roe deer descended into the village, where it was pursued by dogs. Local residents noticed this and promptly intervened to save the animal.

“Most likely, the roe deer came to the village in search of food. However, at that moment, it was attacked by dogs. One of the local residents noticed what was happening, saved the animal by placing it in his barn, and immediately contacted our specialists. On the same day, with the help of our staff, the roe deer was transported to Bishkek and handed over to the 'Bugü Ene' fund,” noted Zalimbekov.

The 'Bugü Ene' public fund is a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection of nature and animals in Kyrgyzstan. The fund also manages the 'Bugü Ene' zoo in Karakol and actively works in the fields of nature conservation, animal rehabilitation, and raising ecological awareness among the population.
