The main goal of these activities is to identify and prevent cases of illegal storage, carrying, and sale of firearms, gas, traumatic, and cold weapons, as well as ammunition. The campaign aims to prevent crimes related to the use of these items. Special attention will be paid to compliance with legislation in the field of arms circulation by both citizens and organizations.
The police will conduct raids and operational-preventive measures aimed at checking places where illegal weapons may be stored, as well as carrying out explanatory work among the population. In addition, there are plans to monitor registered weapon owners.
Since the start of the campaign, 17 units of weapons have already been seized, and measures are being taken against individuals violating legislative norms, the press service noted.
