According to the agency, law enforcement authorities checked the documents confirming the identity of foreign citizens, as well as the legality of their stay in Kyrgyzstan.
“Foreigners were informed about the requirements of the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, according to which they must carry documents confirming the legality of their stay in the country when leaving their place of residence. They were also advised not to leave their place of residence without extreme necessity and to contact number 102 in case of emergencies,” the statement said.
Special attention was paid to explaining the legal norms under which foreign students are not allowed to work without the appropriate permit.
Preventive measures aimed at preventing and detecting violations of migration legislation will continue.
