In Bishkek, there are only 35-40 ambulances in operation.
At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Zhanibek Abirov made a request to the new leadership of the Ministry of Health.
He noted that as a result of the administrative-territorial reform, the area of Bishkek has significantly increased, and the population has reached 1 million 300 thousand people. However, the city has only 35-40 ambulances.
“The waiting time for an ambulance is about 2 hours. I have been informed that digitalization is complete and there are enough specialists, but there are not enough vehicles,” Abirov emphasized.
He appealed to the Ministry of Health with a request to purchase ambulances for the capital.
