On January 13-14, 2026, a seminar dedicated to modern methods of feeding agricultural animals was held at the Kyrgyz Scientific Research Institute of Animal Husbandry and Pastures. The event was organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic, which announced this training.
The seminar was part of a grant project implemented by the KOICA International Cooperation Agency.
The main objective of this training was to increase animal productivity through the introduction of scientifically justified feeding systems, optimal use of feed resources, and strengthening the practical skills of specialists in this field.
Additionally, seminar participants were offered methods for assessing feed quality using laboratory and calculation approaches.
During the event, specialists explored several key areas:
- determining the chemical composition and nutritional value of feeds for cattle;
- balancing rations considering protein, energy, minerals, and vitamins;
- assessing the digestibility of feeds and their efficiency;
- analyzing analytical data using feeding programs and statistical methods.
