Necessary equipment for this farm was purchased with funds from the Sokuluk District State Development Fund.

According to the information from the ministry, the cake obtained during the processing of safflower is intended for feeding agricultural animals.

“The average yield of safflower is about 1 ton per hectare, and with adherence to all agronomic recommendations, it can reach up to 5 tons. The oil yield is up to 40%,” the Ministry of Agriculture added.

In the lower part of the Sokuluk District, there are about 50,000 hectares of arable land, of which approximately half is rain-fed. Previously, wheat and barley were mainly cultivated here.

In the future, it is planned to increase the areas allocated for safflower, attract farmers and dehkan to its cultivation, as well as provide them with modern seeds and agronomic equipment.
