During the discussions, the participants emphasized the prospects for deepening mutually beneficial cooperation in the areas of trade, economy, and investment between Kyrgyzstan and Italy. Plans for organizing joint events in the B5+1 format were also discussed. It is important to note that Kyrgyzstan's inclusion in the list of 15 priority countries for Italy underscores the high level of trust and strategic interest in developing bilateral relations.
“We attach great importance to the development of relations with the Italian Republic and are pleased to see an increase in the flow of foreign investments. We ensure reliable protection of investors' rights and provide state guarantees in accordance with legislation and international norms. Our country is open to long-term strategic partners and is ready to create the most favorable conditions for doing business,” noted Ravshanbek Sabirov.
The National Agency also presented information on the reforms being carried out in the institutional and regulatory spheres aimed at improving the investment climate. Mechanisms for state support of investors and key projects in areas such as energy, industry, agro-industrial complex, and infrastructure were discussed.
As a result of the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to further strengthen the partnership and implement joint initiatives.
