According to him, the feasibility study for the project has already been completed, and an environmental protection conclusion has also been prepared.
Ibraev noted that the three countries are actively cooperating within the framework of this project. Uzbekistan has already provided its comments and proposals. A meeting of the working groups is expected after Kazakhstan completes its consultations. The World Bank has set the task of finalizing the intergovernmental agreement by April.
The minister also reminded about the recent negotiations in Brussels, where 11 international donors expressed their readiness to provide Kyrgyzstan with an amount of $2.6 billion.
According to Ibraev, the funds can be transferred after the agreement is signed with Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
