Citizens should exercise increased caution.
The situation in the Middle East raises serious concerns, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic urges citizens in the United Arab Emirates to remain calm and take precautions.
"It is important to monitor official statements from local authorities, such as the Ministry of Internal Affairs and other responsible agencies, and to use only verified information. We also urge not to spread rumors," the ministry noted.
In the UAE, a decision has been made to temporarily extend the stay of citizens in hotels without additional payment, as well as not to evict them due to the cancellation and rescheduling of flights.
Thus, Kyrgyz citizens are recommended to stay in hotels and await official instructions from the authorities. It is important to maintain contact with consular institutions, tour operators, airlines, and hotel managers.
In the event of an air raid alert or other emergencies, it is essential to strictly follow the instructions provided by law enforcement officers and hotel staff.
"Considering the closed sky regime in the UAE, leaving through land borders or third countries should only be considered in cases of extreme necessity and with strict adherence to information from competent authorities," the Ministry emphasized.
To ensure operational interaction and current information about Kyrgyz citizens in the UAE, the ministry requests that individuals report their location to the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic, providing the following details:
- Full name;
- Date of birth;
- Passport number;
- Actual address in the UAE;
- Contact information.
Information should be sent to the following contacts:
- Embassy of the KR in the UAE: +971522255269;
- Consulate General of the KR in Dubai: +971522918840;
- Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the KR: +996999312002.
