The situation in Kuwait remains stable, and local residents are not experiencing panic.

As reported by Turmush, Aikokul Tolkunbekova, who works in Kuwait, stated that the situation in the country is still calm. The embassy is actively working on clarifying the list of citizens and preparing for possible emergency situations.

According to compatriots, explosions can only be heard in the sky, and there have been no significant changes in the daily lives of local residents.

“Everything is calm in the country for now. There is no panic among the people. We live not far from the center of Kuwait, in the Hawalli and Salmiya areas. Sometimes we hear rocket explosions in the sky, as they are reportedly used to intercept other rockets. However, local residents continue to lead their normal lives without giving in to panic,” noted A. Tolkunbekova.

The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Kuwait is also working on clarifying information about its citizens.

In case of an emergency, a special list is being compiled for the possible evacuation of citizens to safe places. Currently, 301 citizens of Kyrgyzstan are registered on this list, and it will be updated,” she added.

According to the director of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Seitak Jumakadyrov, it was announced at a press conference held on March 2 that there are about 22,000 citizens of Kyrgyzstan in the Gulf countries.

He stated that the largest number of Kyrgyz citizens is in the UAE (approximately 10,000) and Saudi Arabia (about 6,000). “In light of the current tense situation in the Middle East, the ministry is taking measures to protect the rights of Kyrgyz citizens in these countries, which include Bahrain, Iraq, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Kuwait, as well as Israel and Iran,” he said.

At the moment, there are no registered cases of injured or abandoned Kyrgyz citizens. All of them are receiving the necessary assistance from consular staff. There have been particularly many requests for support from Dubai, where a large number of tourists are located.

On February 28, a war began between the USA and Israel against Iran. Previously, the parties were negotiating Iran's nuclear program, in which the USA insisted on Iran's abandonment of nuclear weapons development. The third round of these negotiations took place in Geneva on February 26.
