In recent years, the judicial system of the Kyrgyz Republic has demonstrated positive dynamics. From 2021 to 2025, comprehensive constitutional and institutional reforms are being implemented to strengthen the independence of the judiciary, enhance the effectiveness of justice, and improve mechanisms for professional accountability. The updating of the regulatory framework, the introduction of objective assessments, and competitive selection contribute to strengthening the human resources potential and transparency of the judicial career.
Despite the increased workload, stability in law enforcement practice and adherence to reasonable deadlines for case consideration have been maintained. With the support of President Sadyr Japarov, large-scale modernization of infrastructure is underway: new court buildings are being constructed, socio-economic guarantees for judges are being improved, and comfortable conditions for the administration of independent justice are being created.
A strategic direction is also the digital transformation of the judicial system. The development of automated information systems, electronic document management, the state register of judicial acts, and services of the "Digital Justice" portal are gradually forming a modern and accessible model of judicial proceedings.
All necessary measures will be taken to further improve the judicial system of the Kyrgyz Republic as a reliable guarantor of justice and a key institution in strengthening the legal and democratic development of the country.
