
The first vice-president of KFU, Nurdin Bukuev, represented the Kyrgyz side, while the Ghanaian delegation was headed by high-profile representative Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa. The meeting also included the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Ethiopia, Adylbek Tillebaev, as well as staff from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and members of the Ghanaian mission.
Nurdin Bukuev noted that football in Kyrgyzstan is experiencing a period of active growth: sports infrastructure is developing, the level of the national championship is increasing, and the number of legionnaires, including players from Ghana, in clubs and the national team is rising. He emphasized that Ghana's experience, as one of the leading football countries in Africa, is very valuable for Kyrgyzstan.
Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa shared information about the football development system in his country, emphasizing the importance of academies. He noted that a well-organized process for training young talents allows Ghana to regularly produce high-class players on the world stage.
The parties identified specific areas for cooperation, including:
Organization of experience exchange programs for coaches and managers
Joint training camps in Ghanaian academies
Preparation of an official memorandum of cooperation
Conducting friendly matches at the national and club team levels
Special attention was given to establishing personal connections between athletes. During the visit, the Ghanaian delegation met with the forward of the Kyrgyz national team, Joel Kojo, and the player of the "Bars" club, Emmanuel Yagro, which became an important element of both sports and cultural exchange.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to develop a long-term partnership that would contribute to raising the level of football both in Kyrgyzstan and in Ghana.
