During a working trip, the mayor of the capital, Aybek Junushaliev, together with representatives of city services, inspected several construction sites.
The first point of inspection was the section of Deng Xiaoping Avenue, stretching from Intergelpo Street to Kainazarov Street, where preparations for asphalt laying are currently underway. This section is expected to be opened for traffic in five days.
The Land Use Control Department was instructed to dismantle temporary structures located in green zones. Relevant services were also ordered to remove abandoned vehicles and take action against drivers who improperly parked their cars.
On the southern side of Deng Xiaoping Avenue, repair work continues between Kainazarov and Sydygaliev Streets. The possibility of installing U-shaped traffic lights at the intersection with Kainazarov Street is also being considered.
The municipal enterprises "Bishkekvodokanal" and "Tazalyk" were instructed to promptly conclude contracts with local entrepreneurs to provide necessary services.
The mayor also visited the first bus depot of the Municipal Enterprise "Bishkek City Transport" on Kustanai Street, where a reconstruction project for the area was presented.
Additionally, the construction work of a square on Profsoyuznaya Street, located from Patrice Lumumba Street to Karakumskaya Street, was checked. Five workout areas and children's play zones are planned to be created here, as well as the planting of about 750 trees, including linden and maple trees. The mayor also instructed to consider the possibility of creating smart parking lots.
The contractor was instructed to increase the number of machines on site and accelerate the pace of work. A multifunctional sports ground is planned to be built on the site of old structures near the square on Patrice Lumumba Street, as well as to tidy up the adjacent areas, including the area around the school.
During the inspection, it was found that some residential buildings are functioning as commercial properties without the necessary documents and agreements with municipal enterprises. In this regard, the mayor instructed to take urgent measures, including sealing such premises if necessary.
Following the inspection, the mayor instructed to raise and thoroughly review the documentation for all new constructions.
