








On February 23, in Bishkek, Mayor Aibek Junushaliev, along with representatives of city services, conducted an inspection regarding the improvement of markets in the Sverdlovsk district. Relevant information was published in municipal sources.
The first stop of the inspection was the "Dordoy" market, where work is currently underway to improve conditions. The mayor inspected the area near the lake and the road sections where the construction of a new road with expansion is planned.
During the tour, the mayor instructed to clear the shoreline of the lake from reeds and continue the improvement works. To date, over 20 tons of garbage have been removed from the water body.
The Sverdlovsk district administration, together with the Municipal Property Management Department and other city services, has been tasked with intensifying preparatory activities for road construction, including the removal of illegal structures that hinder the implementation of the project.
The municipal inspection of the mayor's office has been instructed to monitor the situation with parking cars in green zones and take appropriate measures.
Additionally, relevant services have been suggested to consider possible locations for the construction of multi-level parking lots near the markets and to start work on identifying illegally operating facilities.
Then, Aibek Junushaliev visited the "Dinar" and "Chynar" markets located in the Alamedin-1 microdistrict.
During the visit, the tenant of the "Dinar" market was instructed to restore the sidewalks and ensure their accessibility for citizens. Furthermore, the Sverdlovsk akimat was tasked with addressing the issue of asphalt paving the sidewalks and greening the adjacent area.
The Land Use Control Department, together with the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance Center, has been instructed to check compliance with sanitary standards and the legality of the placement of facilities, as well as to begin the demolition of illegal constructions.
During communication with traders, the mayor emphasized that all work at the markets will be carried out in strict accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of the inspection, the mayor issued a reprimand to the head of the Sverdlovsk district, as well as to the head of the Municipal Property Management Department and the director of the Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development. The head of the Sverdlovsk district was instructed to take personal control of the improvement of the markets and to tidy up the areas.
