The press secretary reminded that earlier President Sadyr Japarov spoke about the necessity of supporting doctors and increasing their salaries.
The head of state emphasized the importance of doctors in ensuring the health of the population and instructed to give doctors priority in obtaining apartments on preferential terms through the State Mortgage Company to improve their social status. Currently, young doctors who have just completed their training receive 13,581 soms, but starting in April, their salary will increase to 35,248 soms," added Alagozov.
This example shows how the minimum wage will change, and for doctors with more experience, it will be even higher.
According to him, additional payments, such as seniority bonuses, will remain, and for medical workers willing to work in remote and high-altitude areas, salaries will be increased by an average of 30%. Also, as part of the "Doctor's Deposit" program, the government pays doctors 66,000 soms quarterly. Young specialists choosing in-demand specialties (pediatrician, neonatologist, anesthesiologist, intensivist, surgeon) will also receive an additional 20,000 soms per month. In addition, the salary of 28,000 nurses working in the country will increase from 8,541 to 29,053 soms, which is almost a threefold increase (not including additional payments and bonuses for working in difficult conditions)," emphasized the press secretary.
Alagozov added that there is a demand for doctors of various specialties in the country's medical institutions, and currently, there are 1,596 vacancies open. He urged young specialists, recent graduates of medical universities, or those who have left the profession to contact the nearest hospitals for information about vacancies and employment opportunities.
He also asked to spread this information among acquaintances who have a medical education and are looking for work.
