Dmitry Bivol Still Intends to Fight Beterbiev for the Third Time

Vadim Kornilov, manager of Dmitry Bivol, shared information about his protégé's plans.

After the mandatory IBF title defense against Michael Eifert, scheduled for May 23, Bivol hopes to have a third fight with Artur Beterbiev.

Among his future opponents, a rematch with Saul Alvarez, a fight with David Benavidez, and a title bout in the light heavyweight division are also being considered.

The bout between Bivol and Eifert will take place in Giza, as part of a boxing evening, where the main event will feature Oleksandr Usyk and Rico Verhoeven.

In his last fight, which took place on February 23, 2025, in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Dmitry faced Artur Beterbiev. This fight was a rematch that lasted all 12 rounds and ended with Dmitry winning by a majority decision (114-114, 116-112, 115-113). As a result, Bivol became the undisputed world champion in the light heavyweight division.

After this, Bivol announced the start of rehabilitation following surgery related to exacerbated back problems.
