Dmitry Bivol, the world boxing champion, announced that he is ready to complete the trilogy with Artur Beterbiev in 2026. This was reported to journalists by Vadim Kornilov, Bivol's manager and holder of the WBA, IBF, and WBO titles in the light heavyweight division.

According to Kornilov, the athlete is currently undergoing rehabilitation after back surgery.

The manager also shared information about Bivol's return to the ring, which is expected in March or April. One of the possible opponents being considered is the IBF mandatory challenger Michael Eifert. After that, Bivol has planned a major fight for the second half of next year — the third bout with Artur Beterbiev.

Recall that in February 2025, the boxers had a rematch in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), where Bivol won by a majority decision and became the undisputed world champion in the light heavyweight division.

The first fight between them took place in October 2024, when Beterbiev also won by a majority decision. He has 21 wins (20 by knockout) and 1 loss, while Bivol has 24 wins (12 by knockout) and 1 loss.
