During the court proceedings, a civil case was considered in which Bivol demanded that certain information disseminated by Ekaterina be recognized as false and damaging to his honor, dignity, and business reputation, as well as to obligate her to publish a retraction.
According to the case materials, the defendant posted information that defamed the plaintiff on the banned social network Instagram and on the messaging app Telegram.
The court supported the athlete's position and recognized the information disseminated by Ekaterina Bivol as false and derogatory. As a result, the court ordered her to publish a retraction on all her resources, including websites and social networks.
Ekaterina Bivol is wanted both in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. A criminal case has been initiated against her under Article 330 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning incitement of racial, ethnic, or national hatred, in connection with her offensive remarks about two nations.
