The court in Russia has ordered Ekaterina Bivol to refute false accusations against her ex-husband

The proceedings of Dmitry Bivol have concluded with his victory

The Smolninsky District Court in St. Petersburg has issued a ruling requiring Ekaterina, the ex-wife of boxer Dmitry Bivol, to refute false accusations made against him. This was reported by Sportbox.

Previously, Ekaterina claimed on social media that she had been subjected to domestic violence by the athlete.

According to the court, "The Smolninsky District Court of St. Petersburg considered a civil case in which Dmitry Bivol filed a lawsuit against Ekaterina Bivol, demanding that the information she disseminated be recognized as false, damaging to his honor, dignity, and business reputation, and also obliging her to publish a refutation." The court found that the information posted by the defendant was indeed not true and tarnished the honor and reputation of the plaintiff.

In accordance with the court's decision, Ekaterina Bivol must publish a refutation on all her resources, including websites, social media pages, and messengers. The refutation must include the operative part of the court's decision and be accessible to third parties for six months from the date of publication, the press service of the courts of St. Petersburg clarified.

It should be noted that in June 2023, Ekaterina announced her separation from the boxer after more than 15 years of living together, during which they had two sons.

Subsequently, Ekaterina made several scandalous statements on social media, including offensive remarks towards various nationalities. These statements led to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan issuing a warrant for her arrest, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan declaring her wanted.
