The document states that the journalist's arrest was arbitrary and violated seven articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, as well as six articles of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
The Working Group urged the Kyrgyz authorities to release Mahabat Tajibek kyzy, provide her with compensation, restore her rights, and conduct an independent investigation into the circumstances of her arrest, taking measures against those responsible for violating her rights.
Furthermore, the organization strongly recommended that Kyrgyzstan cease the persecution of independent media and urgently reform legislation to align Article 278 of the Criminal Code with international human rights standards.

On January 17, 2024, the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek decided to arrest the journalists, sending them to pre-trial detention for two months.
During the court session, 95 video materials from Temirov Live were reviewed.
On October 10, 2024, the Lenin District Court of Bishkek issued a ruling. Judge Kylchbek Istamkulov sentenced:
- Mahabat Tajibek kyzy - to six years of imprisonment;
- Azamat Ishenbekov - to five years;
- Aike Beishekeeva - to three years of probation;
- Aktilek Kaparov - to three years of probation.
Among those acquitted:
- Safar Akunbekov;
- Saiypidin Sultanaliyev;
- Tynystan Asypbekov;
- Maksat Tajibek uulu;
- Joodar Buzumov;
- Jumabek Turdaliev;
- Akyil Orozbekov.
Numerous international organizations condemned the court's decision, characterizing it as pressure on freedom of speech and independent media.
