According to the lawyer, masked law enforcement officers with automatic weapons burst into Kadyrov's apartment without providing any documents, including a decision to initiate a criminal case. She noted that on the morning of November 22, Kadyrov's family panicked and informed her about the attempted intrusion.

Argymbaeva recounted that the peephole was covered, and she could not see the faces of the people outside the door because she heard loud banging. Immediately after this, an investigator called her and asked how quickly she could arrive.

In response to her answer that she could arrive in 10-15 minutes, the investigator did not wait, and when she finally reached the location, Kadyrov's daughter met her with tearful eyes. She told her that armed individuals had broken into the apartment while they were sleeping.

The lawyer then went to the investigator's office, where they waited for several hours to review the decision to initiate a criminal case.

“The investigator was clearly nervous: he couldn't outright refuse, but he also wasn't going to provide a copy. We spent the time waiting from one to five in the evening,” she added.

While they were waiting, the lawyer heard shouting from the hallway. Stepping out of the office, she saw a special forces officer using physical force against a detained man who had a bruise on his face. She shouted for the violence to stop immediately. The detainee managed to state his last name—Baigumbetov—before he was dragged back into the investigator's office.

The lawyer claims that she was never shown the decision to initiate a criminal case, and the investigator refused to clarify what exactly Kadyrov was suspected of. Nevertheless, the interrogation began.

The first question was: “How did you attempt to seize power, when and under what circumstances?” According to Argymbaeva, at such moments, she would like to know where to find a schedule of power seizures, as it is difficult to understand what is being referred to without hints.

She noted that the interrogation protocol recorded that due to the lack of information about the decision, it was impossible to answer the question posed.

Thus, the interrogation essentially ended there,” concluded the lawyer.

Recall that on November 23, law enforcement agencies conducted searches and detentions related to a case of possible calls for mass riots. A criminal case was initiated after a video featuring politician Temirlan Sultanbekov surfaced, leading to the start of investigative and operational activities.

During the investigation, several politicians and former officials were detained or summoned for questioning, including Kadyrbek Atambaev, Shailoobek Atazov, Syimyk Japykeev, Kubanychbek Kadyrov, and others. Searches were also conducted at the homes of politicians and journalists, including former First Lady Raisa Atambaev, relatives of Temirlan Sultanbekov, and the family of journalist Dmitry Lozhnikov.

It later became known that among those detained were Temirlan Sultanbekov, Kadyrbek Atambaev, Shailoobek Atazov, Kubanychbek Kadyrov, and six others who were placed in a temporary detention facility for the selection of a preventive measure. Other participants in the interrogations, such as Adakhan Madumarov and Syimyk Japykeev, were released after conversations with investigators.
