Kyrgyzstan Citizens Will Be Able to Obtain Free Higher Education at Rosatom Universities

Citizens of Kyrgyzstan can take advantage of the opportunity for free education at leading universities of Rosatom, according to information published on the Rossotrudnichestvo website in Bishkek. Clarifications on the fields of study and admission conditions are also provided here.

Energy is one of the most important and promising areas for the development of Kyrgyzstan's economy. Due to the active modernization of the industry, there is a need for young qualified specialists. The Russian energy system is considered one of the strongest in the world, and in the academic year 2026/27, Kyrgyz citizens will be able to study under the master's programs of this leading corporation.

The Russian government has allocated 700 quotas for citizens of Kyrgyzstan for budget-funded education, of which 18 places are intended for the universities of Rosatom.

Among these universities:

National Research Nuclear University "MEPhI" National Research University "MPEI" Bauman Moscow State Technical University Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology National Research Technological University "MISIS" Saint Petersburg State University Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin Kazan State Energy University Kazan National Research Technical University named after A.N. Tupolev National Research Nizhny Novgorod State University named after N.I. Lobachevsky and many other Russian universities.

Documents are accepted for the following fields:

Nuclear energy and technologies Physics and astronomy Industrial pharmacy Materials technology Mechanical engineering Chemical technologies Applied geology, mining, oil and gas engineering, and geodesy.

Education is completely free for enrolled students. They receive a scholarship and can live in a dormitory. Applications and competitive exams can be conducted online. In the application, it is allowed to indicate up to six universities in order of priority.

Applications are accepted through the portal education-in-russia.com, where detailed information about universities, programs, and cities is presented. The deadline for submitting documents is December 15, 2025.
