The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Jeenbek Kulubaev, reported an increased interest from the international community in the processes of peaceful development in Central Asia. This statement was made during President Sadyr Japarov's visit to Turkmenistan.
Kulubaev noted that many countries today are showing attention to this region.
“Now, when border disputes between states have been resolved, Central Asia is perceived as a zone of peace. Therefore, the processes of peaceful growth in this region attract the interest of international partners. While, for example, Cambodia and Thailand face conflicts, and India and Pakistan continue their disputes, Central Asia demonstrates the ability to resolve issues peacefully. Establishing peace paves the way for economic growth. Central Asia serves as a link between greater China and Europe, which includes the development of transit routes and the creation of logistics centers. The possibility of transforming Central Asia into a bridge between the West and the East is often discussed at international forums,” he emphasized.
It should be noted that Kyrgyzstan makes a significant contribution to maintaining peace, trust, and good neighborliness, thereby promoting stability in Central Asia. The countries of the region strive to establish themselves as a transport and logistics hub and a bridge between the West and the East.
