According to the Ministry of Culture, Information, and Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic, the refusal to organize a concert for Valery Meladze in Bishkek is related to compliance with the rules of touring and concert activities for foreign artists.

The agency noted that event organizers are required to submit a written application to the ministry in advance to obtain permission, attaching all necessary documents. After that, an analysis of the artist's reputation is conducted both in their home country and on the international stage, as well as a check for compliance of their work with generally accepted moral and legal standards.

The Ministry of Culture emphasized: "The ministry checks the artist's reputation at the international level and their compliance with generally accepted norms."

It was previously reported that Kyrgyz authorities denied Valery Meladze the opportunity to hold a concert as part of his anniversary tour. Media manager and producer Pavel Rudchenko informed the publication "Abzats" that the decision may have been driven by a desire to maintain stable relations with Russia and minimize the risk of political statements at events.

According to available information, Meladze intended to perform in Kyrgyzstan in honor of his 60th birthday and planned to cover Central Asian countries in his tour route. Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan agreed to hold concerts, while Kyrgyzstan refused to organize the performance.
