Kyrgyzstan participated in the work of the International Maritime Organization assembly in London

Led by Ambassador Ulan Dzhusupov, the Kyrgyz delegation is participating in the 34th session of the IMO Assembly (International Maritime Organization) as a new member. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The sessions are taking place in London from November 25 to December 4.

Kyrgyzstan's accession to the IMO is a significant step in strengthening international cooperation, opening new horizons for interaction with global maritime organizations, improving transport connectivity, and increasing participation in international trade routes.

The Kyrgyz delegation is actively involved in discussions on key issues such as maritime security, the digitalization of the shipping sector, emission reduction, and support for landlocked countries.
