The strength of the falcon lies in its unyielding spirit

What is the strength of the falcon?

A famous falconer was asked about the merits of the falcon.
- The falcon can go without food for 35 days. It has remarkably sharp eyesight and can see its prey from a distance of 3-5 kilometers. And its strength is simply astonishing - with a weight of 700 grams, it delivers a blow of 200 kilograms to its enemy.
- So what is the reason for such abilities?
- The secret of this bird is not in its weight or size. The strength of the falcon lies in its unyielding spirit and the fearless heart of a born fighter. It does not know how to retreat or lose.

Brave Crows

There was a noise and commotion at the edge of the forest. Two dozen wild crows were arguing about who was braver than the others.
- I am the bravest! - cawed the old crow.
- No, I am much braver, - replied the young one.
The same was shouted by all the others.

Suddenly, a stone flew towards them, thrown by a boy rushing to the noise. In an instant, there was no one left in the tree. No one shouted or argued anymore - all the brave ones had flown away.

Nest and Golden Cage

Golden nest on a branch,
Will I see you again?
Or must I die in the cage
From longing and pain?

The khan was surprised by such a sad song from the nightingale and wanted to see the golden nest about which it sang. "What must its nest be like if it longs for it so? Surely, it is richer than the cage in which the nightingale lives in the palace?"

The khan ordered the bird to be released and instructed his horsemen to follow it, see where it flew, look at its nest, and report back to him. The horsemen followed the freed prisoner. The nightingale flew to a clear river, bathed, fluffed up its feathers, sang a joyful song with its wonderful voice, and flew to its nest.

When the horsemen saw the nest, they were astonished to find that it was made of simple dried grass. Upon returning, they told the khan about it. "I understand! For the nightingale, a poor nest made from the grasses of its native land is dearer and more precious than all the gold," exclaimed the khan...
